Responsibilities

What you'll be challenged to do:

Locally and nationally will be reporting to Program Executives, and to client, the Senior Scheduler will work collaboratively with senior leadership to monitor all scheduling needs from design through construction, integrate all scheduling related items while maintaining a master schedule, and develop scheduling reporting processes for the Transystems is looking for a Senior Scheduler to support a wide range of civil construction projects both

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and lead all scheduling related items for a large-scale transportation program
  • Provide executive level scheduling updates and recommendations
  • Provide overall quality assurance and independent third-party analysis pertaining to scheduling
  • Conduct what if analysis, time impact analysis, and schedule risk assessments as required
  • Participate in project meetings to discuss status of overall program schedule, schedule conflicts, and recommendations for scheduling improvements
  • Develop and maintain a program master schedule to consist of all program activities including land acquisition, utility relocation, design, and construction
  • Communicate all scheduling related issues to appropriate parties
  • Additional duties as assigned


Qualifications

What you bring to our firm:

  • Minimum of ten years scheduling experience within the transportation or heavy civil industry
  • Strong understanding of transportation construction practices, procedures, and methods of construction
  • Accomplished in using Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling technique
  • Proficient with Primavera P6
  • Ability to analyze scheduling issues and provide solutions in a timely manner
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including a positive and professional attitude
  • Actively engages multiple perspectives when solving problems, seeks to learn from peers, and encourages reciprocal learning among team members.
  • Actively advocates for full inclusion in the workplace, fostering an environment that welcomes diversity and values equity for all employees, partners, clients, and the communities that TranSystems serves


What we’d prefer for you to bring to our firm:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
