Job Description: Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week assignment with our esteemed client in Pittsburgh, PA. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate technologist looking to expand their career in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic imaging examinations using X-ray equipment.
Ensure images meet diagnostic quality standards.
Collaborate with radiologists to interpret and evaluate results.
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures.
Provide compassionate care and support to patients throughout their procedures.
Assist with other radiologic procedures as needed.
Education And Certification Requirements
Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology.
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
Valid state licensure to practice as an X-Ray Technologist in Pennsylvania.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
Skills And Qualifications
Proficiency in operating X-ray equipment and related technology.
Strong understanding of radiologic practices and safety standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
