Job Description: Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week assignment with our esteemed client in Pittsburgh, PA. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate technologist looking to expand their career in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging examinations using X-ray equipment.
  • Ensure images meet diagnostic quality standards.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to interpret and evaluate results.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures.
  • Provide compassionate care and support to patients throughout their procedures.
  • Assist with other radiologic procedures as needed.

Education And Certification Requirements

  • Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
  • Valid state licensure to practice as an X-Ray Technologist in Pennsylvania.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Proficiency in operating X-ray equipment and related technology.
  • Strong understanding of radiologic practices and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
