Become part of our Client's dynamic team to oversee the development of directly compressible tablet formulations within our expanding market. To spearhead the creation of our revolutionary coated tablets, the chosen candidate will be adept at managing our state-of-the-art, high-speed machinery that transforms powder into tablets. They will also play a key role in training new machine operators in their daily responsibilities and troubleshooting any operational issues. Attention to detail is crucial as this individual will be accountable for actively monitoring and recording product quality, production yields, and equipment performance. We are looking for candidates who bring adaptability, strong communication abilities, and a willingness to travel, as this role involves a bi-weekly travel schedule with one week off in between.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reviewing and executing batch records
Accurately dispensing powder to specified quantities
Overseeing infusion (granulation), blending, compression, and coating of tablets to meet pharmaceutical standards
Operating machines in accordance with cGMP, safety, and regulatory protocols
Exceeding quality and production targets
Conducting in-process checks on all products within specified timeframes
Performing disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of machinery and auxiliary equipment as per guidelines
Training new machine operators on approved procedures and policies
Troubleshooting operational issues
Other duties as necessary or assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or equivalent; vocational specialization preferred with a minimum of one year of machine operator experience
At least 2 years of experience operating a tablet press and/or tablet coater
Residence within 45 miles of a major domestic airport
Up to 40%-50% travel required (2 weeks at time); weekend days spent traveling or working are compensated as Make Up Days (MUD)
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Advanced technical and mechanical skills
Strong attention to detail and documentation
Understanding of metric system units of measure
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
A pharmaceutical and manufacturing background is preferred
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work takes place in a factory environment with exposure to dust and raw materials such as GRAS botanical powders used in the supplement industry, pharmaceutical tableting excipients, and cannabis.
Traveling to manufacturing location to complete tablet "campaigns".
