XPEL, Inc. (Nasdaq: XPEL), a leading supplier of automotive paint protection films, window films, ceramic coatings and commercial/residential flat glass film, is currently seeking a Treasury Manager for its San Antonio, TX corporate headquarters.

XPEL is a multi-national corporation that is unique in that all accounting and finance tasks are handled from the headquarters in San Antonio, TX. We are an SEC registrant and a large accelerated filer that is growing! We have a small team that has a lot of fun (yes – even as accountants!) and takes a lot of pride in producing a top-notch product every day. The Treasury Manager is a newly created position that will oversee all international banking relationships, cash movement and management, debt recommendations based on cash flow projections, corporate expense card programs, and merchant service transactions and relationships. We actively promote from within and have added many opportunities in recent years as our business has grown, including this position.


Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Treasury professional that is excited to bring innovative ideas to this newly created position. You will manage a team of four and oversee daily banking activity, payments process, all banking relationships (domestic and international), and build a cash flow analysis and forecasting process. Additionally, you will be the SME for the merchant processing platforms as well as the corporate expense card programs and expense reporting system.This is a detailed job that will require a good combination of “do” and “review” work – you will roll up your sleeves from Day 1 at XPEL!


Core Duties

  • Recommends and implements approved organizational treasury policies, governing cash flow and liquidity, debt and credit, interest rate or currency risk, investing and forecasting, and relationships with banks or other financial institutions.
  • Manages treasury strategies that ensure liquid funds are available for current capital needs, and assists in implementation of long-term cash management or investment plans that both preserve capital and support strategic goals.
  • Move funds on daily/weekly basis between subsidiaries as needed through FX platforms and help ensure favorable rates for FX transactions.
  • Oversee the release of funds for vendor and payroll needs and recommend and implement streamlined procedures to assist the flow of payment processing.
  • Be the subject matter expert for all merchant services platforms and primary financial contact to implement and recommend new payment solutions worldwide. Will work closely with IT resources and the be project manager to push these integrations forward.
  • Primary contact for all corporate card programs.Recommend and implement approved changes that will maximize rebate potentials while balancing the change management for cardholders and Treasury personnel.
  • Be the subject matter expert for expense reporting platform. Recommend and implement approved changes that will minimize time for users to complete all necessary reporting, work with Finance to provide useful spend reporting, and implement changes to reduce Treasury team members’ time to process reports.
  • Primary contact for all new bank account set ups and working with acquired companies to determine if accounts will be migrated and closed or kept open. Admin for user accesses.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of controls over financial assets; lead treasury and cash related controls initiatives.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other related field required; CPA, CTP, or MBA preferred
  • minimum 6 years’ experience in Accounting, Finance
  • experience managing a team
  • Strong cash and banking acumen required; cash movement and foreign banking and currency
  • experience strongly preferred
  • Strong advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is mandatory
  • Experience overseeing merchant service platforms and expense reporting platforms strongly preferred; previous work with Concur and Adyen a plus
  • Experience with internal controls in the Treasury field strongly preferred
  • Multi-lingual a plus
  • NetSuite knowledge preferred but not required
