The Truckload Broker's primary responsibility is to locate truckload carriers within a designated region or lane and negotiate rates and delivery terms according to the shipment's specific requirements. Additionally, this role involves taking comprehensive truckload orders from customers and identifying suitable truckload carriers in the geographic area capable of transporting the freight while meeting the desired service level and required margins.

Hours: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday, 90 days training in office with option of hybrid after training
Compensation: starting at $25.24 - $26.24, depending on experience

Knowledge And Skills To Be Successful
1 year of 3PL experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong communication and multitasking abilities
Proficient negotiating skills, persistence, and attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to handle stressful situations professionally
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Outstanding people skills
Thorough knowledge of freight terminology, documents and best practices
