Client: Indium Software Inc/ Brighton Health Plan Solutions (US)

We are seeking a talented UI/UX Developer with a strong foundation in HTML5, JavaScript, Java, CSS, and AJAX to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces and experiences across web applications.

As a UI/UX Designer, you will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and software engineers to translate design mockups and requirements into interactive and responsive front-end solutions.

Familiarity with WCAG is a must.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement user interfaces and experiences for web applications using HTML5, JavaScript, Java, CSS, and AJAX.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate design concepts and requirements into functional and user-friendly interfaces.

Create wireframes, working prototypes, and mockups to communicate design ideas and concepts effectively.

Optimize front-end performance and user experience through efficient code, responsive design, and browser compatibility.

Implement interactive features and dynamic content using JavaScript frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).

Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and implement best practices for accessibility and usability.

Conduct user testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve upon UI/UX designs.

Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in UI/UX design and development.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field.

Proven experience as a UI/UX Developer or similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing front-end development projects.

Proficiency in HTML5, JavaScript, Java, CSS, and AJAX with a solid understanding of web standards and best practices.

Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus.

Strong visual design skills and attention to detail with the ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.

Must be well versed with WCAG2.0/3.0 guidelines.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a passion for user-centered design.

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and communicate ideas and concepts clearly.

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile development methodologies is desirable.

Familiarity with UI/UX design tools (e.g., Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma) is a plus.

Experience in Localization is a plus.

Having previous experience with Health Insurance organizations is a plus.
