Job Title: UI/UX Designer

You'll be using state-of-the-art tools like our UI Builder to bring your designs to life, connecting them to data sources and incorporating dynamic elements using Python and SQL.

Key Responsibilities

• Design wireframes and mockups to get feedback from customers and other internal team members prior to development

• Collaborate with other teams to gather requirements, co-create visualization concepts, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes for clients.

• Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions, focusing on protecting the user journey and enhancing user experience.

• Take a user-centric design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs.

• Build application pages using a UI Builder with a library of widgets and connect the pages to data sources using Python and SQL

• Apply strategic thinking to design and deliver innovative end-to-end user experiences that optimize among user needs, business goals, and technological realities across web & mobile platforms.

• Performs additional duties as required to support design practices


Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in design, Computer Science, or similar field REQUIRED.

• Have proven (typically 5+ years) UI/UX analyst/developer experience with a strong penchant for data-heavy business enterprise applications

• Knowledge of standard UX software such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite

• Knowledge of relevant standards and best practices for design of modern, data-rich, and responsive applications

• Must possess a solid grasp of SQL and a working knowledge of Python. Note - there will be a technical interview to demonstrate your skills in these areas as part of the candidacy for this position.

• A working knowledge of BI tools is desirable

• Some experience with building/configuring enterprise planning application interfaces (ServiceNow, Qlik, Tableau, e.g.) is preferred

• Experience working for a SaaS company in a B2B setting is strongly preferred. Experience working in the Agriculture industry is a major plus as well.

Continuous Learning: The field of UI/UX design is constantly evolving with new technologies and trends. Successful designers demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning

User-Centered Design (UCD): Understanding the needs, preferences, and behaviors of end users is fundamental. Design decisions should be guided by empathy and a deep understanding of user requirements.
