Lazard is seeking a Vice President to join the Consumer, Food and Retail Private Market Advisory team in Minneapolis. In this group, we provide financial advisory services to both public and private companies; including founder-owned, entrepreneur-led and private equity backed clients across the food and beverage supply chain, in addition to the consumer products and services sectors.

We’ll trust you to:

• Prepare and participate in new business presentations
• Interact with client senior executives
• Perform valuation analysis and financial modeling
• Prepare marketing materials including confidential offering memoranda and management presentations
• Engage in significant client interaction at multiple levels
• Facilitate sales processes, including managing the due diligence process
• Participate in the development, training, and mentoring of Analysts and Associates
  
  

You’ll need to have:

• At least five years of extensive M&A investment banking experience, with meaningful exposure to the food/consumer vertical preferred
• An MBA preferred but not required
• Strong undergraduate and graduate academic performance (3.5 GPA or better)
• Strong writing skills
• Strong foundational skills, including advanced modeling and financial / data analysis
