Vice President, East Coast Sales

Teads is seeking a Vice President, East Coast Sales to join our team in New York. As the VP of Sales, your primary focus will be to lead the East Coast sales team, reach and exceed sales goals and promote the sale of our platform to key agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a growing commercial sales team. Set and hit revenue targets, monitor and manage performance, provide strategic direction, manage profit & loss, attract hire & train top talent
  • Drive the end-to-end sales process, develop strategic accounts and join business plans. Identify top growth prospects, scale client solutions, and help negotiate and close large deals across client direct and agency
  • Represent Teads in the digital marketplace and become an active brand advocate
  • Work closely with Studio, Customer Experience, Insights, and Studio teams, to ensure client campaign expectations are communicated internally
  • Join sales executives on strategic meetings with clients
  • Ensure that goals are communicated effectively and that sales performance is monitored and achieved
  • Defacto office and workplace lead for East Coast market

Experience / Background

  • 10+ years of experience selling media, with a strong emphasis on video/mobile
  • Deeply entrenched in the East Coast ad communities with high-level relationships across agencies and brands
  • Previous experience building and managing a large, multi-layered commercial team
  • Previous technology platform experience a plus
  • Excellent communication skills: listening, verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Driven, passionate, and a team player
  • Experience at a DSP, trading desk, or ad tech company a plus
  • Deep understanding of the digital video marketplace is required

The base salary range is $200K-$250K; Salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with this role. This role is eligible for a discretionary quarterly bonus and/or commission payments based, in part, individual and company performance relative to pre-established targets. Pay is based on various non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, and skills.
