Vice President, Sales
Teads is seeking a Vice President, Sales to join our team in Detroit. As the VP of Sales, your primary focus will be to lead the sales team, reach and exceed sales goals and promote the sale of our platform to key agencies.

Teads operates a leading, cloud-based, omnichannel platform that enables programmatic digital advertising across a global ecosystem of quality digital media. As an end-to-end solution, Teads’ modular platform allows partners to leverage buy-side, sell-side, creative, data and AI optimization technologies.
For advertisers and their agencies, Teads offers a single access point to buy the inventory of many of the world's best publishers and content providers. Through exclusive global media partnerships, Teads enables advertisers and agencies to reach billions of unique monthly users in brand safe, responsible advertising environments, while improving the effectiveness and efficiency of digital ad transactions.
Teads partners with the leading marketers, agencies and publishers through a team of 1,200+ people in 50 offices across more than 30 countries.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a growing commercial sales team. Set and hit revenue targets, monitor and manage performance, provide strategic direction, manage profit & loss, attract hire & train top talent
- Drive the end-to-end sales process, develop strategic accounts and join business plans. Identify top growth prospects, scale client solutions, and help negotiate and close large deals across client direct and agency
- Represent Teads in the digital marketplace and become an active brand advocate
- Work closely with Studio, Customer Experience, Insights, and Media Strategy teams, to ensure client campaign expectations are communicated internally
- Join sales executives on strategic meetings with clients
- Ensure that goals are communicated effectively and that sales performance is monitored and achieved
- Defacto office and workplace lead for Detroit market
- 10+ years of experience selling media, with a strong emphasis on video/mobile
- Deeply entrenched in the Detroit and Midwest ad communities with high-level relationships across agencies and brands
- Previous experience building and managing a team
- Previous technology platform experience a plus
- Excellent communication skills: listening, verbal, written and presentation skills
- Driven, passionate, and a team player
- Experience at a DSP, trading desk, or ad tech company a plus
- Deep understanding of the digital video marketplace is required
- Passionate – high energy and enthusiasm.
- Hands-on approach – will have good examples of personally leading critical negotiations.
- Digital media expert – able to act as a trusted strategic advisor to advertiser clients across the digital media landscape including programmatic, CTV, data and audiences, research and measurement.
