Vice President, Solutions Consultant - AI

Edelman’s continued evolution as the leading communications consultancy will require paramount focus on product development (technology and services) that leverages data and AI to transform its own and its client’s businesses. To achieve this vision, Edelman is building a critical new AI driven division that consists of four primary departments. Each department has a specific role and responsibility in the development, delivery and deployment of AI and data solutions across Edelman and the communications industry.

The VP of Solution Consulting will be a vital link between the consulting and business development teams. This person will work closely with the EVP of Business Development to manage and grow the current pipeline of opportunities. They will showcase our solutions as the technical authority and help assess opportunities as they transition into active client projects. Moreover, they will collaborate closely with the product team to offer feedback on current products and represent the perspective of the potential customer (internal and external).

Responsibilities:

• Qualify AI opportunities by understanding client needs and aligning them with appropriate solutions.
• Provide technical expertise to clients, ensuring a deep understanding of AI tools and technologies.
• Recommend tailored AI solutions that address specific client challenges and objectives.
• Track and manage pre-sales engagements, ensuring a seamless transition from proposal to implementation.
• Demonstrate Edelman tools and platforms to prospects, highlighting their capabilities and benefits.
• Collaborate with the consulting team to develop innovative solutions that meet client needs.
• Work with the business development team to drive client adoption and foster long-term relationships.
• Ability to create bespoke solutions that are customized to meet the unique needs of each client.
  
  
  

Basic Qualifications:

• 8+ years of client-facing experience, preferably in a consulting or technical sales role
• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

• Expert understanding of PR & Communications Agencies, with a proven track record of success.
• Experience demonstrating tools and technologies to diverse audiences.
• Experience working with Fortune 100 brands, understanding their unique challenges and requirements.
• Strong technical understanding of AI tools and the overall AI ecosystem.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.

$150,000 - $215,000 a year

An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
