Summary:


The VP, Stakeholder Relations will be responsible for qualifying and building relationships with key stakeholders and potential partners across the globe. They will be responsible for supporting the USSA Business Development Teams (MENA, LREID, NDD, GCF) in advancing the stakeholder engagement strategy. The VP will support USSA and the Parent company develop into a key institution for future partnership.


Responsibilities:


Leadership & Strategy:

  • Support the development and implementation of the stakeholder relations strategy in alignment with the overall BD client and in collaboration with various BD teams and USSA client.
  • Develop and manage budgets for SHR activities and contribute to the development and execution of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), aligning business development activities with organizational goals.
  • Recruit and onboard USSA-SHR Department staff, ensuring the team has the necessary skills and expertise; oversee the team’s project reporting and CRM management.


Stakeholder Relations:

  • Serve as a central point of contact for stakeholder inquiries, escalations, and coordination efforts.
  • Foster and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a deep understanding of their unique needs, preferences, and challenges.


Events and Conferences:

  • Represent USSA Business Development teams at public events and conferences as needed.
  • Support the organization and execution of impactful roadshows and special hospitality events.
  • Report on activities at conferences and roadshows to client teams.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Lead the USSA Business Development – Stakeholder Management Team.
  • Develop and oversee the execution of the AOP & Client Strategy.
  • Monitor progress and performance of USSA-SHR section.
  • Provide constructive and timely feedback to USSA-SHR staff.
  • Recruit staff to join USSA-SHR section.
  • Approve USSA-SHR section administrative items, e.g., travel requests, recruitments.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with USSA company policy.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required (International Relations, Political Science, Business Administration/Management). MSc or MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive relevant experience.
  • 4+ years of supervisory/managerial experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to think methodically and strategically to solve problems and implement solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, CRM systems (DealCloud/SalesForce) Workday, Adobe Acrobat.
  • Must be willing and able to travel both domestically and internationally (30% to 50%).

The base pay range for this position is $140,000-$190,000. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history, job-related knowledge, qualifications, and skills.
