Are you ready to take on a leadership role in guiding and executing digital transformation initiatives? As the VP of Product Engineering, you will work closely with the SVP of Technology to drive innovation and strategize the evolution of our digital platforms.
Your Role
As the VP of Product Engineering, you will play a crucial role in our digital transformation journey. Your responsibilities will include leading teams to enhance innovation, increase operational efficiency, and shape the future of our digital landscape. You will be responsible for developing and communicating our digital product strategy and roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Product Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement cutting-edge digital strategies that align with our business objectives. Foster an agile culture that promotes continuous improvement and advances digital solutions.
Technology Leadership: Provide strategic direction for our IT group, ensuring that technological initiatives are in line with our overall business goals. Oversee software development, system architecture, and promote the use of modern development methodologies.
Innovation and Emerging Technologies: Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to evaluate their potential impact on our digital ecosystem. Drive innovation throughout the organization by identifying and implementing new tools and platforms.
Team Leadership: Build and lead high-performing engineering teams that encourage collaboration and innovation. Mentor and develop technical talent, emphasizing a culture of learning and knowledge sharing.
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors and consultants to ensure they deliver solutions that meet our business requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration; Master's degree preferred.
12+ years of experience in advanced technology roles focusing on Digital platforms, UI/UX, and Application development.
Proficiency in Cloud Technologies, Content Management, UI/UX Frameworks, .NET, API Frameworks, and other relevant technologies.
Experience leading product or applications teams with a focus on cross-functional software development.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work successfully with cross-functional teams.
