Go Local Interactive, a leading digital marketing agency, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Information Technology (IT). The VP of IT will be responsible for overseeing the company’s technology strategy, ensuring the seamless integration and management of IT infrastructure, and driving innovative technology solutions that support business objectives and growth. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of technology trends and a proven track record in IT management.

Job Expectations

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the company’s business goals and objectives.
  • Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Technology Infrastructure: Oversee the management, maintenance, and enhancement of the company’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, databases, and cloud services.
  • Cybersecurity: Ensure robust cybersecurity measures are in place to protect the company’s data and systems from threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Project Management: Direct the planning and implementation of IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality service delivery.
  • Budgeting: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to meet strategic priorities.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, data protection laws, and company policies related to IT and data management.
  • Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends, and recommend and implement innovative solutions to enhance business performance and competitive advantage.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide solutions that support their goals and improve operational efficiency.


Qualifications

Job Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA or Master’s in IT) is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, databases, and cloud computing.
    • Proficient in cybersecurity principles and best practices.
    • Experience with IT project management and methodologies.
    • Familiarity with software development processes and tools.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing IT teams.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget.
  • Certifications: Relevant IT certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP) are a plus.
