Our client is a global leader in the manufacturing of a wide range of innovative composite components. They have a long history with an impressive track record of growth, and they currently service customers in North America, Asia, Europe, and South America. As the company is gearing up for its next stage of growth, they are looking to hire an experienced Vice President of Sales & Marketing to lead its strategic sales and marketing initiatives.


The Role:

Reporting to the President, this VP of Sales & Marketing is a highly visible executive role that will provide strategic leadership and go-to-market strategies to drive sales growth and enhance market presence to achieve revenue targets. It will lead a dynamic team and be involved in key customer and prospect conversations, as well as focus on optimizing sales processes, and implementing innovative marketing strategies. Key Responsibilities include:


  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute sales and go-to-market strategies.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in existing and new markets.
  • Sales Management: Oversee the sales team, set performance metrics, and ensure efficient strategy execution.
  • Marketing Oversight: Lead marketing efforts to create impactful materials, enhance brand positioning, and drive customer engagement.
  • Applications Engineering: Collaborate with applications engineering to align sales efforts with customer needs.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Use market research and analytics to inform strategies and decisions.
  • Cultural Champion: Promote a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.


Note - This role can be remote but will require up to 40% travel spent visiting with clients and prospects and attending industry events.


Desired Experience:

The ideal candidate will be an accomplished leader with a proven track record in sales and marketing within the manufacturing or industrial sectors. They will possess exceptional strategic thinking abilities, a deep understanding of market dynamics, and a passion for driving growth through best-in-class sales and marketing tactics.


Key Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in sales and marketing leadership roles, preferably within composite materials or related industries. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful

sales and marketing strategies that drive revenue growth. Proven track record of building and leading high-performance sales and marketing teams, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
