Job Purpose

The Architecture practice establishes and maintains the architectural framework to support the technology strategy within which IT solutions can be delivered. As a Technical Architect with specific emphasis on Software as a Service (SaaS), your primary role is to ensure the seamless integration of 3rd party provided SaaS solutions into the existing CLS infrastructure and application ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Act as a lead architect on projects producing High Level Design documentation describing the overall technical design and demonstrating compliance to specific functional and non-functional requirements and alignment to technology standards, principles, and policies.
  • Identify recommended SaaS options in the market and conduct feasibility assessments prior before proceeding with design documents.
  • Establish and communicate new design patterns.
  • Through collaboration with the business, vendors and technology provide ongoing Architectural review and management of SaaS services to maintain a technology roadmap.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Expert in the integration of SaaS applications with other applications and IT systems
  • Technical proficiency across cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), virtualization, networking, security, and SaaS solutions
  • Experience facilitating Cloud & Infrastructure strategy and architecture development detailed planning at the service level

Qualifications / Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect at the Associate Level or equivalent Cloud-related solution architecture qualification
  • Solution Architect qualification or certification in Architecture methodology or technology solutions such as TOGAF

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail

Based on the experience, the salary range for this role is 160,000 - 190,000 USD pear year.
