Warehouse Supervisor

Sewer Equipment provides the highest quality and most innovative sewer cleaning products for the municipal and contractor market. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations at our Dixon facility. This will include managing inventory, ensuring efficient storage and distribution of products, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. The role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to optimize processes, and a keen focus on maintaining inventory accuracy and on-time delivery.
Responsibilities
Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations at our Dixon facility. This will include managing inventory, ensuring efficient storage and distribution of products, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. The role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to optimize processes, and a keen focus on maintaining inventory accuracy and on-time delivery.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily receiving, storage, and shipping operations.
- Ensure inventory levels are maintained and accurately recorded.
- Implement and enforce warehouse best practices to maximize efficiency.
- Develop and optimize warehouse procedures to improve overall operations.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth logistics and distribution.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate warehouse staff.
- Train, certify and recertify all fork truck drivers.
- Maintain a safe work environment and enforce safety regulations.
- Monitor and manage warehouse equipment and facilities.
- Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance and metrics.
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing and 5S.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a diverse team and delegate tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
- Ability to work independently
- Fork Truck experience
- Manufacturing Experience Preferred
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
