- [Tutor] As we get started, it's important to note that there's more than one version of the Adobe Acrobat DC software. So let's take a moment to compare the two versions and see how they differ from each other. As with other Adobe software, Acrobat is available as a subscription. Currently it's 14.99 a month for Acrobat Pro DC, and 12.99 a month for Acrobat Standard DC. And that's in US dollars. The two versions are fairly similar, but as you can see here, the standard version doesn't allow you to do things like compare two versions of a PDF to see the differences between them, or to turn a scanned document into a editable searchable document, meaning you can't turn a picture of a document into an actual text document with standard.
