- [Instructor] You've probably heard the term accessibility in conversations about technology. But what does it mean in that context? Accessibility is about helping the reader and making sure that digital content, whether it's a webpage, a text document, or a PDF, is available for everyone, regardless of whether they have full vision or low vision, or whether they have full mobility or limited mobility, and can't take full advantage of a keyboard or a mouse. So for digital media to be truly accessible, all people should be able to view the document either themselves or through assistive devices like screen reading software. To ensure that screen reading and other assistive software can read content in the right order, you need to properly structure the document's layout and add tags.
