- [Tutor] Adding form fields to a PDF document can be done manually by drawing the form fields directly onto the form. We'll be taking a look at how to do that shortly. But first, I'd like to show you acrobats form wizard, which is designed to scan a form, and automatically add the necessary fields for you, which can be a big time saver. I have this form here that currently has no fields on it. I'm going to come over to the tools on the right, and click prepare form. (clicks mouse) From here, I can choose to work with the form that's currently open, or we have the options to open another document, or even to scan in a paper form that we can then add fields to. I'm going to stick to working with the current form. Now the important setting for this exercise is here, where it says form field detection is on.
