Scaling options for Azure SQL DB and SQL MI

- [Instructor] Azure SQL DB and Azure SQL MI have multiple options for scaling. And we have already encountered some while looking at the service and compute tiers. Both Azure SQL DB and Azure SQL MI can be scaled dynamically. If we enter the compute and storage pane of this Azure SQL database, we have already seen how I can change the number of vCores to scale up or down by using this slider which will also scale up and down the memory. We can also scale up IOPS by switching from general purpose to business critical or dynamically scale further to hyperscale. But note, moving to hyperscale is a migration and you can only migrate back for up to 45 days. If we had created this Azure DB as hyperscale, we would not be able to switch back to business purpose or business critical.
