- If you think about it, you advocate for things all the time, but I guess you don't call it advocating. Maybe you call it managing the problem, handling an issue, or simply getting stuff done. You're making things happen, but are you seeing all the opportunities around you? To help you see more of these, I've developed a model I call S.P.A.R.K. Using S.P.A.R.K., you'll discover when you're advocating for yourself and see chances to do more of it. The S in S.P.A.R.K. is for start. Is there a project, a training, even a system that would help you be more effective in your role? These holes can be productive places to start asking for what you need.
