- [Instructor] The human brain is an incredible thing. It processes so much information regularly. It allows us to breathe without even thinking about it. It communicates with our internal systems in a way that we don't even notice until something is off. It even has a built-in panic button that fires off and allows us to demonstrate certain skills or abilities we wouldn't notice otherwise. For example, the mom that lifted a car off of your child. As awesome as the human brain is, it's still imperfect. I'd actually argue to say that our brains can be a little lazy and sometimes by design too. Let me explain. We process so much information daily. That accumulates over our lifetime and just like a computer, our brains need to figure out how best to support us and our immediate needs many times without our active involvement.
