- Change is an inevitable part of work. And although change may be out of your control, how you communicate with employees is within your control. In this video, I'll show you how you can communicate change with clarity and transparency. The first step is to explain the why behind the change. Think back to the first video in this chapter, where I talked about the importance of explaining both individual and organizational goals to employees. In change management, you again need to explain the why for both parties. This provides clarity of the benefits of the change for the organization, but also for the individuals on your team. The second step is to explain the what. Again, address both the what for the organization and the individuals on your team.
