- Long gone are the days when you would start working at an organization and work there for life. As a manager, you want to focus on retaining and engaging your employees. But change is inevitable. In this video, I'll teach you key points to keep in mind when employment ends, whether your employee resigns or when you're ending their employment. When employees resign, be mindful of your reactions both to that employee and the team. Often, employees are nervous to tell you they're leaving, and for you, it may be an inconvenient time or it may feel personal. But every individual has to make choices based on their own situation. Put your feet in their shoes and show support. The circumstances of their employment may vary. They may have a required notice period or they may be going to a competitor.
