- Do you have a to-do list? Most of us do. What about a strategic thinking list? Probably not. So how do you make room to think strategically when you are used to working by daily to-do lists? In this video, I'll explain why thinking strategically matters and how you can develop a framework to do it consistently. As a manager, thinking strategically matters because you'll have to make numerous decisions every day. Here's a framework of three questions to ask yourself in every decision you make: priority, resources, and impact. And to make these come to life, stop now, and think about a decision you need to make as a leader. Then as I talk about each step, write down how they apply to that decision.
