Software as a Service or SaaS is a computing model that offers an entire application managed by a cloud provider through a web browser. The cloud provider hosts the application software in the cloud and delivers it through a browser. With this model, you don't need to download or install any of it. SaaS is appealing because it's abstracts technology completely from the consumer. The end user doesn't need to care about the underlying infrastructure, which is the cloud provider's responsibility. Organizations simply pay a subscription fee for access to a ready-to-use software product. Google Workspace, which includes tools such as Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, and Google Meet is a Google Cloud SaaS product. So what are the benefits of SaaS? It's low maintenance.
