- [Instructor] On a Mac, an iPhone, or iPad, there's an option to store the passwords you use when you sign into websites. iCloud Keychain is a tool that lets you keep those saved passwords synchronized across multiple devices, and it can automatically fill that information in for you when you go to sign into an account online. Now I'm starting on the website for Dropbox, but this works the same on most websites where you sign in with a password. I've already typed in my username and password here, and I'll click Log in. And because this is the first time I'm signing into this account in Safari, it will ask me if I want to save this password in my Keychain. If you do this, the next time you go to sign into this page, Safari can automatically fill in your password for you so you don't have to type it in. And this works in some other applications as well.
