- If things went well, you'll receive an offer from the recruiter. I'm not going to cover the financial aspects of the offer, because that's a personal choice. I do, however, want to emphasize that when you're thinking about your offer, consider how this role will enhance your career. Ask yourself, do I like the team I'll be working with? Do I think I'll like the work? Do I think I can be successful in this role? And what will I learn? Sometimes there are things you need to learn to get to where you want to be in your career, and a specific job might give you the ability to learn those things. Be strategic about your career, and take into consideration all the aspects of the role and how they fit into the longer term plan of where you see yourself in the future.
