- Most often the hiring manager is the last person you'll speak to. This is probably one of the most important interviews because the relationship you'll have with your manager will be one of the most important relationships you'll have at the company. During their one-on-one with you, hiring managers will talk to you about the role and answer any questions you may have about the team, about themselves, or about the company. They're looking for your impressions of the day. It's important that you take this time to evaluate whether or not this is someone you can work with and want to work for. Since you already met the hiring manager previously, this conversation should be focused around the role, your impressions of the team, and any follow-up questions you have around the company.
