There's multiple things called points in, in a touring situation. Right now the point is the X on the floor. That tells the local riggers that we want to have a chain motor, which is one of these guys right here, we want to have the chain coming straight down right here. So the X on the floor is called a point. Once they set the chain up in the air, that's called a point. And this is the wire rope that will be used to go to the ceiling, that is also called a point. So when it comes to the morning when we are doing our rigging, we take a sheet much like this one and the local promoter has told us where people are sitting. This lets us early in the morning figure out what PA, how many speakers we need to fly, and where we need to point them?
