A shortcut to self-empathy

- A friend of mine jokes about starting a podcast called Yeah, but how do you do that. On it, she would address all the things people agree are good concepts, but don't know how to actually do. Things like relax or be yourself or manage your emotions at work. I think self-empathy easily falls into this category, it sounds good but how do you do it. The greatest self-empathy hack that I've found comes from Sarah Peyton. She's a neuro science educator and the author of the book "Your Resonant Self." In it she suggests a two-word shortcut to self empathy, "Of course" as in, "Of course I feel this way." My co-worker threw me under the bus and I'm furious, of course, I'm furious. Saying of course to yourself means you can look at the whole scenario and see how your emotional response to it makes sense.
