- What makes your product stand out from the rest of the noise in the marketplace? This is your USP. And you want to make sure that you are articulating this enough in your marketing to help encourage sales and to help you to stand out from the rest of the products in your marketplace. Potentially, it could be your product ergonomics. This speaks to how practical your product is. Maybe your product has been designed in a specific way to make it easier for your customers. You want to make sure you are communicating this. Your USP might also be your price. Maybe you can offer a solution to your customers' problems at a cheaper price than anyone else in your marketplace. Now, you want to be careful with price because it can lead to a race to the bottom and sometimes customers can associate a cheaper price to cheaper quality.
