What is a marketing campaign?
- [Narrator] Are you wondering what a marketing campaign is? Well, according to the marketing industry leader, HubSpot, a marketing campaign is an organized, strategized effort to promote a specific company goal, such as raising awareness of a new product or capturing customer feedback. Marketing campaigns typically aim to reach consumers in a variety of ways and involve a combination of media, including but not limited to, email, print advertising, television or radio advertising, pay per click, and social media. In other words, when marketers are faced with a singular goal or a series of related goals to achieve, a marketing campaign provides the roadmap in which to achieve them. When McDonald's created their new loyalty program, "My McDonald's Rewards", they knew they needed to raise awareness for the program to encourage customers to join.
