- [Presenter] An important part of preparation that often gets forgotten is to think about your tradables. These are all the extras all the things other than the price. So they can be things like how long you have to wait, packaging, payment terms, other services that you can offer or that you might want to buy from them. Does the car have a sunroof and the extra powerful music system, does the gardener take away the clippings. You get the idea. Some of these things might have more value than any changes you can get in the price so they can make a big difference to how good the deal is overall. And the great thing about tradables is that they make it possible for both sides to win. If there's something that you can easily offer for example extra information, knowledge and help or a recommendation, this could be something extremely valuable to them.
