- A few years ago, I would've told you that while some UX jobs were remote, many more were in person and in fact required that you spend most of your days in the office. You would've had your assigned cubicle or perhaps seat in an open office plan. But as I'm sure you know, the COVID years changed a lot of that. Now, you'll certainly find some UX jobs that are still completely or mostly in person perhaps because of the culture of the organization or maybe because you're working on physical products that require your presence or maybe you're working on sensitive things that you just aren't allowed to connect to from home. Simultaneously, you'll find that other UX jobs are completely remote and you really can work from anywhere. There's no perfect solution.
