- [Narrator] In this video, I'm going to show how to make a list of interiors finishes in your Revit model by using a material takeoff schedule. I'll show how to create custom parameters that can be used for sorting and filtering materials inside the Revit file. Let's get started. From the View tab on the ribbon in Revit, select Schedules and in the dropdown click on Material Takeoff. For this Material Takeoff I want to make a Schedule for all the Interior Finishes materials. To do this, I need to select Multi-Category so that Revit includes materials from floors, ceilings, walls, and any other category of relevant element I need to specify finishes for. If I click OK on the menu I can select from the parameters of all the categories of elements inside of my Revit file. If I scroll down I'll find material parameters. I'm going to click to add Material: Name and Material: Description and Material: Manufacturer. On the Sorting/Grouping tab, I can sort by Material: Name, and I'm going to…
