- Now, let's discuss how to conduct a successful fact-finding interview process and some essential questions that should be asked during interview process in order to properly vet the best candidates. The first mistake many creatives make when conducting interviews is they don't allow the candidates to speak, but instead, do all the talking themselves and don't ask enough questions. Yes, while it's your job to sell them on your firm, your first job is to make sure the candidate is the right fit. Instead, intentionally ask good questions and allow for moments of silence. These silences are great tests to see if the candidates can fill in those awkward moments and what they say during those times can be very revealing.
