An error occurs when an action or process cannot be completed correctly, such as the inability to complete a transaction because the credit card number was entered incorrectly. A mistake is an incorrect choice or information that does not prevent the action or process from being completed but the end result is not anticipated or desired. Let's use online banking for an example. If I have $1,000 in my savings account and I request a transfer of $1,000 to my checking account but I wanted to transfer only $100, the transfer will be processed and my savings account will be empty. I made a mistake but the bank has no way to know that so it processes my request. If I have $100 in my savings account and I request a transfer of 1,000 to my checking account, the transfer will be denied due to insufficient funds. I've made an error and the bank detects it…
