- [Rick] In this video, we'll learn how Network Health Check can be used to validate that we have a consistent configuration in our vSphere virtual switches that matches up to the configuration of the physical network itself. Network Health Check is another feature that's only available on the vSphere Distributed Switch, and this feature is not enabled by default, but the Network Health Check is used to ensure that the virtual switch and the physical switch have been configured in a compatible manner. It's going to compare the configuration of the vSphere distributed switch to the configuration of a physical switch. And the health check will determine whether the physical switch is configured with the correct MTU, for example. So if we are utilizing jumbo frames, it's very important that the MTU matches on the virtual switch in the physical switch. But right now we can see, hey, our MTU and our vSphere Distributed Switch is currently 9,000, that means we can be sending out really big…
