Sales and business development needs to learn how to converse,not pitch. For years I used to pitch and wondered why I never closed many sales. I had to stop pitching about what I have and learn what the prospect needs. Prospects get sick and tired of hearing about the dog and pony show of what your business or organization can offer. They don’t care if your business is the best to work for, if you have a great product,or if they have stellar clients who use you.They want results to deal with their important pain they don’t know or know about…We have to listen to your customer by asking the right questions and as always, stop talking…
