This short clip implies that (humans) or animals need to assist each other. Let's consider the workplace climate, where each unit frequently operates as an isolated silo, like miniature kingdoms with their little monarchs (hopefully not where you are). As a result, it is not unfamiliar that unnecessary issues tend to pop up (in terms of one or the combination of these three factors: specifications, budget, and time) as each unit functions independently. Last night, Oppenheimer the movie received several awards, but there's an unsung hero to the story that was never mentioned. The Institute for Advanced Study located in Princeton, NJ, played a crucial role in the history and story of Oppenheimer. Many logically associate Princeton University with both Einstein and Oppenheimer, but it turns out, IAS is a separate entity just a few blocks away. Established in 1930, it has been ground zero to some of the most revolutionary discoveries known to mankind. #discovery #innovation #mathematics Check out this video to learn more: https://lnkd.in/eKYzQfRA

🚪📕 The foundations of modern atomic theory owe a significant debt to the early musings of ancient philosophers, among whom Democritus and Plato stand out prominently. While Democritus may not have been entirely correct in his hypotheses about atoms, his contributions laid essential groundwork for the future of atomic and particle physics. In contrast, Plato’s ideas, particularly regarding the shape of matter, did not hold up under the scrutiny of later scientific inquiry. Democritus, along with his mentor Leucippus, posited that the universe is composed of tiny, indivisible particles called atoms. According to Democritus, these atoms differed in size and shape and moved through the void, combining in various ways to form the observable world. Although his view of atoms as indivisible was eventually proven incorrect with the discovery of subatomic particles, Democritus’ core idea 💡 was revolutionary for its time, moving away from mystical explanations of matter to a more rational, observable framework. It paved the way for scientists like John Dalton, who would develop atomic theory further, that atoms could combine in specific ratios to form compounds, and later scientists who discovered that atoms themselves are divisible into protons, neutrons, and electrons.
