A unique reality is setting in this summer for CPG brands, they are facing a convergence of flat growth along with negative price elasticity for the first time in a number of years. For the year ending in June, Food and beverage CPG spending grew just 5% with a 2% unit-sales decline. Non-edible CPG sales revenue grew 2%, while unit sales declined 5%, according to Circana, and The NPD Group. These numbers are well below expectations and are forcing CPG brands to rethink both their projections and marketing expenditures. 🔥😀EXCITEMENT WITH TIREDNESS😨🔥 During the first week in the market, I observed how selling actually got done. In the second week got assigned that I need to increase the sales of premium products Tropicana, Slice, Cream Bell and Gatorade of PepsiCo in the market by 50%, 50%, 60% and 30% respectively. This week I met with so many shop owners to ask why they don't keep these products in their outlets. Gatherd a huge chunks of data. Now need to fetch few solutions out of it to increase the sales. The common issues which I've gathered are - 1. Price Margin - Competition products are providing much margins than PepsiCo. 2. Supply on the demand - Shortage of the products in the warehouse of PepsiCo when shop owners are asking for. 3. रखना ही नहीं है आपका प्रोडक्ट 🥺 - These are the customers who have the tief with other Brands. After getting so many rejections, I'm still on my single knee for the next proposal 😁 #sales #analysis #competition
