🎧 Listen to Consumers Energy Senior Vice President of Transformation and Engineering Tonya Berry discuss how the company is building a smarter and stronger grid through a strategic plan called the Reliability Roadmap. ⚡ Over the past year, the company has installed new technology and made improvements to its electric system, including upgrading and rebuilding more than 100 substations, adding smart technologies like automatic transfer reclosers, strategically burying electric lines in certain areas, and more. "We're telling our customers that when they see our bucket trucks and our lineworkers in their community on a clear day, that means we are building a smarter and stronger grid. We'll continue to look at how to enhance the plan to make sure we aren't missing anything," Berry said.
