When it comes to social media, the riches lie within the connections you make with organizations, individuals in your network, and events. If you haven't yet integrated tagging into your social media strategy, it's time to start. Tagging not only amplifies your reach but also integrates your thought leadership into overarching and trending online conversations. By tagging relevant organizations, individuals, and events, you position yourself at the center of meaningful discussions, increasing your visibility and fostering valuable relationships. To tag make sure to use the @ symbol followed by the name of the desired organization, individual, or company. Let's practice! Tag your favorite thought leader or colleague in the comments! #HappySocialMediaDay #SocialMediaStrategy

It’s Thought Leadership Thursday! Here are a few ideas for growing your influence and to attract attention online. Tip 1: Be intentional. Develop case studies that showcase your expertise and success in your work- those that have led to measurable results. Share these on your social media channels to build credibility and attract more clients. Tip 2: Expand your reach by creating your own blog or writing guest posts for reputable industry blogs. This not only brings new audiences to your brand but also builds your reputation as a thought leader in your field. Tip 3: Host regular live Q&A sessions on your social platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook Live, TikTok, YouTube or Instagram to engage directly with your audience. Use these sessions to share your expertise, answer questions, and build a community around your brand.

“PR is the channel that you leverage to build trust,” PRLab Hub CEO Matías Rodsevich told Eitan Goldstein in a Propel PRM webinar today. Rodsevich advises companies to carefully consider their target audience so that they can focus their efforts toward the right media outlets. To best tell their story and help create the news, companies -- particularly start-ups -- should communicate why they exist, andwhat makes them different from their competitors. Also what are the challenges/problems in their industry that their product/services come to solve? On the topic of social media, Rodsevich recommends creating content to drive engagement and grow one’s network. He notes that people tend to engage more with individuals, and less with companies, so it’s important that the thought leadership, posts and announcements are also coming from leaders in the company. #publicrelations #b2bmarketing #prstrategy #mediarelations

Social Media Marketing and Publicity Thought Leader | Grief + Resilience Expert | Motivational Speaker + Writer
It’s true. Social media is my love language. ❤️ Cheers to my fellow social media lovers. We get a whole day dedicated to us. HAPPY SOCIAL MEDIA DAY! When I started Blair Kaplan Communications 16 years ago, social media marketing wasn’t a “thing.” It wasn’t a service that professionals offered, and there were no experts from whom to learn. My clients and future clients would ask if I knew how to use this “thing” called social media for marketing. I said YES, I DO, even though I didn’t. I figured it out and created my own systems and processes with a proven track record of success. Do you have a social media and thought leadership strategy? If not, that’s ok. I created a system called The Social Media Empowerment Pillars. If you want to be seen as a Thought Leader, you need these 7 elements in your strategy: * Edutain * Money * Personas * Other Players * Wins * Engagement * Realistic Goals Do you need help building your strategy, or do you want to know more about this system? Let’s have a discovery call. DM or email me: blair@blairkaplan.ca #socialmediaday #socialmediatips #thoughtleader #thoughtleadership #worldsocialmediaday
