In our latest LinkedIn poll, an overwhelming majority agreed that investing in preventive care is an important way to control health care costs. That's why it's important to select plans that offer your employees strong support and a range of choices for primary care. #HealthierHappensTogether

Hi Aetna, a CVS Health Company. Another good way to control costs is to give children access to disease modifying medications that are off label. You are a poor performer in this area. You keep calling “off label” use of medications as “experimental” and my patients with Aetna plans suffer (and rack up healthcare costs) because they have to wait for me to fight back. Eventually I will win all of these, but it takes weeks to months. Cathy (Mary) Moffitt, MD, FAAP, CHIE you guys have some work to do in this space. I promise you will save money. Oh, and children will suffer less. Please DM me to discuss my current 7 year old patient who is about to get admitted to the hospital while we wait 16 calendar days for an urgent appeal.
