There are certain spray nozzle and injector applications that can contribute to that efficiency if done properly and if spray technology is better understood. This presentation will look at Water Wash, Regenerator Off-Gas Quench, Torch Oil, and Slurry Backflush while discussing some common issues and methods to potentially improve performance that may lead to increased reliability and safety. Corrosion in the Oil Refineries is a costly concern, and controlling or mitigating the corrosion can make the difference between keeping a unit operating until the next planned outage or having to shut down prematurely. Maintaining the operating equipment so that damage is averted or minimized is also affected by spray nozzle performance. Presented by Chuck Munro of Spraying Systems Co. Mr. Chuck Munro has 30 years of experience with Spraying Systems Company assisting customers to solve problems with spray nozzle solutions. He is an active member of several industry groups, including the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, AMPP (formerly NACE), and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers where he has been involved with training, consultation, and application support. Currently Chuck focuses on the business development of the oil and gas and sulfuric acid industries while working to help these industries recognize ways to optimize performance, while increasing reliability and sustainability with new technologies and proven solutions. We expect Active Anode Material production at our 11.25ktpa AAM facility in Vidalia, Louisiana to start by the end of January 2024. The commissioning processes are well advanced or complete across all parts of the facility, including the key milling, purification and furnaces process areas and equipment, with extensive involvement from our operations team as each area of the plant has been handed over. We've produced unpurified spherical graphite from the front-end milling area since October 2023 to build inventory of precursor value-added material in preparation for the purification and furnace areas becoming operational. However, commissioning of the purification area, including the introduction of reagents into the circuit, was delayed due to optimisation activities associated with the press filtration system and unusual below freezing temperatures forecast at Vidalia next week. The Vidalia operations team is fully staffed with more than 100 employees engaged in the commissioning process and ready to ramp-up operations and production at Vidalia. A further update on commissioning and start of AAM production at Vidalia will be provided prior to or with our December 2023 quarterly report later this month. After the festival, the downstream chemical load is expected to increase, and the demand will gradually recover The historical law shows that the supply and demand of petrochemical products will be significantly eased from February to March. From January to March, the on-load of downstream petrochemical products is in the stage of continuous improvement, and most of the devices at the upstream raw material end will enter the overhaul season. Coming to the Spring Festival this year, since December 2023, the on-load of the raw material end has continued to increase, and the downstream on-load has slowly declined. From the historical law, from late February to March, the downstream chemical load will enter the stage of continuous improvement, the raw material production increase is limited, and some industries will enter the overhaul season, which will lower the overall supply level. #price #chemical #petrochemical #supply #rawmaterial
