FUCHS Group, a company that specializes in lubricant manufacturing and supply, has launched a new product in their Rheolube® product line. The RHEOLUBE 460P series includes PAO greases, a kind of lubricant that is completely PFAS-free, and its greases are thickened with lithium soap. The RHEOLUBE 460P series features advanced additives for improved lubrication. The performance of the new product line not only matches that of Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) containing lubricants, but it also offers improvements in friction reduction, low-temperature performance, and oil separation. PFAS-free lubricants are not new to the industry, but the development of alternatives to fluorinated lubricants that do not contain PFAS is a fresh concept introduced by FUCHS. The company's launch of RHEOLUBE 460P aligns with the industry's current restrictions and regulations on Polytetrafluoroethylene.
