📌 Saint-Gobain Completes Acquisition of The Bailey Group of Companies. 📌 Saint-Gobain solidifies its position in light and sustainable construction with the completion of the C$880 million acquisition of The Bailey Group of Companies (Bailey), a prominent manufacturer of metal building solutions in Canada. This strategic move, initially announced on April 3, 2024, adds significant value to Saint-Gobain's Canadian operations, contributing over C$500 million in revenues and reinforcing its commitment to growth in the region. Bailey, with approximately 690 employees across twelve manufacturing sites throughout Canada, will continue its operations under its current brand name within the local North American construction business, augmenting Saint-Gobain's comprehensive portfolio of interior and exterior solutions. This acquisition marks Saint-Gobain's third major investment in Canada in as many years, following the successful integration of Kaycan in 2022 and Building Products of Canada in 2023. Together, these additions complement CertainTeed Canada's extensive range of building materials, further enriching Saint-Gobain's offerings in both interior and exterior construction solutions. Recent growth investments by Saint-Gobain in Canada include the installation of a recovery system at its gypsum facility in Vancouver, British Columbia, aimed at reducing carbon dioxide emissions, and the ongoing transition of its gypsum facility outside Montreal to become the first zero-carbon wallboard plant in North America.
