“Lazy-girl job” is trending now. Some believe that its popularity may have roots in the anxiety or stress of Gen Z due to little experience of the real world ... It makes senseto me. Whatever the underlying causes, however, it is expressing the will of a growing portion of labore force (revealed preferences). Put it differently, I see #lazygirljob part of a larger transformation of work environment, which in particular, makes the labor market more inclusive, and therefore could be welfare improving. #lazygirljob #labormarket #GenZ #trending

Puzzled about hiring in the North East? Reggie is. Reggie’s a lovely dog but he’s not the sharpest tool in the box. He’s tried everything he can think of to solve this rubix cube but nothing seems to work. Don’t be like Reggie. I've been seeing a ton of ready-to-work tags on many of my former T-Mobile colleagues saddly. I think with news that's surfaced recently, the thing that's more sad is the number of them that choose to apply to internal postings even though they don't really want the role. A company chose to lay these folks off, and then almost simultaneously offer a divided to their shareholders. To me, personally, I chose to find something better. Something outside of an industry I was comfortable with, but where I could be VALUED. Somewhere where they would never prioritize shareholders over a long-tenured hard-working employee like me (The reason I chose to work for a non-publicly traded mutual company). I just want to tell you guys a couple things. 1) Your loyalty and hard work should be reciprocal. 2) You are worth more and can do better. 3) Moving to other industries and companies is scary.. but the world is FULL of opportunities. 4) Don't fall into the "devil you know" fallacy. 5) There are people (LIKE ME) who would LOVE to help you find value here at NYL, or somewhere else!

So, my financial accounting, Quickbooks, and MOS classes will be ending soon. As I prepare to tackle more job interviews in the near future, (I’ve had several phone interviews throughout the last several months), I thought these might be helpful for those also currently unemployed and actively searching, or even casually looking as well, especially if you don’t have your answers to these common interview questions down. I had one instructor remind me recently to always make sure you stick to taylor your answers accordingly, but make sure that the premise is still the same. But make sure that the same basic script is there. Never say that you have weaknesses as well, and to always bring it back to a positive, as the one slide mentions. Always remember to try your best at keeping it positive and don’t let things get you down.
